We are the Only Licensed Thermocrete Installer in the Bay Area!
  1. Why are we the ONLY Licensed Thermocrete Installer in the Bay Area?
            A. Thermocrete is a "Ceramic Flue Sealant", requires a
                 Masonry Classification "C29"
on License from Contractor's State Lic. Board

            B. Thermocrete Ceramic Flue Sealant can only be installed by a factory trained technician.

            C. We are the Only company in the Bay Area that meets both of those requirements.

       2.   What if my contractor tells me they can install Thermocrete Ceramic Flue Sealant?

            A. Verify that they have a "C29" Masonry Classification on their License. You can verify
this by going to CSLB's website:
                  https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/OnlineServices/CheckLicense/LicenseRequest.asp

            B.
Request proof of Licensing (Pocket License references Contractor's Company Name,
                 & Classifications ie: C29 / D34) Worker's Comp Insurance & General Liability Ins.

            C.
Ask them if they will be pulling the permit.  Cities do their due diligence to ensure
contractor's have the proper classifications on their license prior to approving a permit
for installation.  A contractor not properly licensed will refer you to pull the permit.

            D. Still not sure, we recommend calling the Contractor's State License Board directly
                 (800)321-2752 or Fax request to: (916) 255-4535

     3.   Why not just go with an Unlicensed Contractor?

           A.  Risks: Unlicensed contractor's do not carry the proper license or insurance and are
not bonded as required by California. This may prevent you from any recourse if the
contractor does not complete the project and/or their work is not up to par.

           B.  If an uninsured contractor is injured and/or damages your property, you may be liable.
Your "Homeowner's Insurance" may deny your claim and they may refer you to the
contractor's Worker's Comp Insurance or their General Liability Insurance, which they
will not have. Therefore, repair of damages and/or a hospital bill may be your responsibility.

           C.  Learn more about the Risks you assume with hiring an Unlicensed contractor:
